ICE is wrecking chaos and havoc across the country. They are murdering, blinding, and kidnaping people. They are taking children and using them as bait. We have a responsibility to do everything we can to defend our neighbors.

How You Can Take Action

Urgent

The Senate has until Jan 30 to vote on a bill to fund DHS that includes $10 billion for ICE.

Call your Senator to demand they vote against funding this bill. Additionally, you can email.

Senate dems have finally taken a stand and said they will not provide the votes needed to pass the bill, but we have to make sure they don’t fold. Make sure you call if you can, it is one of the most effective way to make sure they hear your voice.

Turn Off Your Location Settings

Apps on your phone are tracking your location, and through a third party, selling it to ICE. Turn off your location settings so that ICE cannot track you.

Boycott Home Depot

Home Depot is allowing their store and parking lot to become hunting grounds for ICE agents. Until Home Depot denounces these raids and makes their locations safe spaces:

  • Do not buy from them. Do your best to support local business but purchase almost anywhere other than Home Depot.
  • Cancel your account and/or credit card. Contact information here. Make sure they know why you’re canceling.
  • Use the We Have Friends Everywhere social media toolkit. Tag them and let them know why you won’t purchase from them.
  • Engage in mass returning, purchasing a very cheap item (like an ICE scraper) and retuning it, over and over again, clogging up lines. This is an extremely effective, legal, and free way to engage in protest. Even better if you bring friends.

Adopt a Day Labor Corner

Go to your local Home Depot, where immigrant day laborers are at extreme risk of harassment and arrest. Choose a location convenient to you, where day laborers gather and commit to showing up regularly. Be present. Be consistent. Build relationships and offer protection. Find a group near you

Boycott Companies that support ICE

For example, AT&T, Comcast, Dell, Palantir, FedEx Target, Hilton, Enterprise, Delta.

IceOutForGood.org makes it easy for you to demand that the worst offenders end their relationship with ICE.

See this article on companies that have the largest active contracts with ICE.
